Akrapovic Stainless De-Cat Link Pipe L-D9SO1

The Akrapovic Stainless De-Cat Link Pipe L-D9SO1 is a newly developed optional link pipe for riders aiming to improve performance and reduce weight. Its stainless steel construction facilitates this, as it removes the stock pre-muffler, which houses the stock catalytic converter, allowing greater gas flow to optimize results in the mid and high rev range. This part is 80% lighter than the factory part, weighing 3.8kg less.

The pairing of the Akrapovic Stainless De-Cat Link Pipe L-D9SO1 and the Titanium Twin Silencer Slip-On Kit S-D9SO17-HCQT increases power in the Ducati Monster to 3.8hp at 8,600rpm with a torque rise of 3.3Nm at 7,100rpm. The Ducati DesertX achieves a 4.4hp boost at 8,600rpm with torque rising to 5.6Nm at 4,600rpm. All these benefits are accompanied by the signature deep racing sound of Akrapovic. Maximum performance can be attained through ECU remapping.

PLEASE NOTE: This link pipe is exclusively designed for closed-course circuits and therefore not legal for roads or highways. Its fitment will void the EC/ECE type-approval of the silencer.
