The Japanese brand Shoei have unveiled the Shoei J-Cruise II Adagio TC1 Open Face Helmet, a major upgrade of one of the world's most advanced open face helmets. Renowned for their exceptional fit, weight and comfort, the new premium tour helmet has already seen great success. With these features, the new and improved successor is sure to impress.
The new J-Cruise II features an outer shell made from Shoei's AIM multi fibre material, a combination of fibreglass and organic fibres. This material is strong yet streamlined, and comes in three distinct sizes for a secure, lightweight, and comfortable fit.
The Shoei J-Cruise II features a specially-shaped thermoplastic visor, providing greater exterior design than its standard counterpart. There's a unique double-lip edge at the bottom that redirects wind away from the visor, creating a more comfortable ride through any season. This is why many motorcyclists choose this helmet for their year-round adventures. The visor has remained the same, but the base plates of the helmet have been improved. Now, the visor can be secured into a slight ventilation notch, a feature that the previous model of the J-Cruise II lacked.
The rear of the J-Cruise II presents a large spoiler to optimize aerodynamics, similar to the one seen on the Neotec II modular helmet. Complemented by the signature 'ducktail' diffuser, the ventilation system has been greatly improved, offering 3 air intakes at the top compared to the single intake of its predecessor - allowing for up to 30% more cool air flow.
The J-Cruise II is prepped for the Sena SRL1 & SRL2 communication systems, providing an undetectable integration that won't disrupt the helmet's design or aerodynamics. The helmet also features an extended 5mm visor with photochromic qualities, plus the added convenience of customizable adjustment via the Shoei Personal Fitting System. The new iteration of the J-Cruise is truly the ultimate in open face helmets.
